Instant Waist Reduction.

Be a true hourglass.

These darlings boost an instant 4" waist reduction and are built to gradually bring our waistline in by 7" with relative comfort.

The Making

We only do made-to-orders. As these corsets are handcrafted in England, please allow 8 weeks for the corsets to be built and send to you.

The following is a list of materials we used to build our corsets. Every little part plays a role in making our corsets well-designed, durable, comfortable, and functional (visible and immediate waist reduction / long-term daily wears cultivates a better posture, reduction of stomach size, and permanent shape enhancement resulting in the scarce and very-much-sought-after hourglass figure - wide top, tiny waist, wide bottom).

Steel Stays: Steel bones are fused throughout entire corset to hold the fabric taut, distribute the tension of lacing, and prevent the corset from wrinkling/folding at the waist.

Material used:  Galvanized Spiral Bones  and/or White Spring Steel Bones

Spiral Bones: Spiral bones have the most flexibility of all bones, being able to move both forwards and backwards and side to side.

Specs:
  • Flattened, hardened, and galvanized (zinc coating) coiled spring steel
  • Ends are capped with nickel plated brass tips
  • Zinc coating protects exposed steel and inhibits rust; even if it is scratched or abraded and the exposed steel will still be protected from corrosion by the remaining zinc
     Purpose:
  • 24 Spiral steel bones throughout for unparalleled support, comfort and curve – Its ability to flex in all axes means we get enough comfort to work and play in it while training our waist to embrace a 6" to 7" waist reduction. Perfect for daily extended wear.

White/Spring Steel Bones: Rigid; flexible in one direction only - flex only forward and back not from side to side

Specs:
  • Flat, high carbon, hardened, spring steel coated with hard white plastic
  • Ends are rounded and dipped in another coating of white plastic
  • Plastic coating protects unexposed steel and inhibits rust; can be chipped or scratched if mishandled and the exposed steel will rust
Purpose:
  • 12 White Spring Steel Bones throughout provides an excellent shape and structure, and an instant 4" to 5" waist reduction. Ideal for functions and events.

Busk: Traditional center front closure. It has two parts - one side with posts and the other with eyes for a solid fastening that can withstand the tension of corset lacing.
  • Material used: Stainless steel or white coated spring steel
  • Properties: Rustproof stainless steel for peace of mind that rusting will not occur as a result of perspiration, hand washing, or moisture and humidity over time or white nylon coated spring steel with nickel plated eyes and posts.
  • Purpose: Better posture and easy wearing/removal (laces does not have to be loosened as much as when the corset had to go over head and shoulders)

Lace Bone: Two-piece grommets and washers fastened between ultra strong and rigid flat steel bones at the center back of corsets to ensure a firm foundation and solid grip on the surrounding fabric and provide support for tightening of the corset with the tension of high strength lace (round braided polyester cord or flat poly/cotton blend) over a 6" modesty panel.

Fabric: Double fused for strength and hard wearing and triple layered resulting in a garment that we can reduce our waist line by 6" effortlessly. This amazing stiffness guarantees we stay in shape at all times.

Foundation: Base in which a corset is built upon. It determines the effectiveness and silhouette of the corset.

  • Fabric used: 100% Cotton Coutil.  A traditional corsetry fabric made from organic cotton specifically fashioned in woven herringbone for the purpose of constructing durable, waist-reducing yet breathable corsets.
  • Properties: All natural breathable fabric, densely woven, light with smooth finish, non stretch, and hard-wearing enough to take the strain of lacing and double fused for extra strength & comfort
  • Purpose: High cotton content and tightly woven structure provided a strong base for instant 6” waist-reduction, inhibits penetration of the stays/bones, prevents stretch, and allows skin to breathe. Recommended fabric for everyday wear.

Lining: Inside finish of a corset. It prevents stretching and wrinkling, protects foundation from perspiration and acts as a buffer to skin.
  • Material used: 100% Organic Cotton Twill
  • Properties: All natural breathable fabric, sturdy and durable. Finely woven for comfort and support .
  • Purpose: Provides a smooth finish, absorbs sweat and moisture instead of trapping it against skin and allows skin to breathe.

Face Fabric: Outer layer of a corset. Flaunt the assertiveness of style, the pinnacle of craftsmanship and a joie de vivre which clearly lift these babies above the ordinary.
  • Material used: Taffeta, Dupioni Silk, Dutchess satin, Brocade, Jacquard
  • Properties: Crisp to the touch, doesn't wrinkle badly
  • Purpose: We only use textile that respond well to and enhance a silhouette while providing the ultimate in comfort to the wearer.

Stay Tape: Strong tape sewn around the waistline of corset either onto lining (regular stay tape) or beneath it (hidden stay tape). Provides reinforcement to waistline of corset as that is the part of the garment with most strain.
  • Material used: 100% cotton herringbone weave ribbon
  • Properties: All natural breathable tape, light, strong and non-stretch.
  • Purpose: Prevents stretching of fabric overtime, absorbs strain so fibers of fabric is not pulled apart sideways by the force of lacing. Align stay tape to smallest part of waist to ensure a proper corset fitting.
