Accurate Measurement
Steel boned corsets are sized by our waist measurement. This is the most important measurement as steel boned corsets are designed to pull our waist in. To obtain a good fit, we stand preferably topless with our legs closed and measure in inches around the fullest part of our bust (our nipple area), the narrowest part of our waist (suck in to position tape) and at our hipbones. We always measure 2 or 3 times, after a meal (Avoid menstrual period) for accuracy.

Corset Sizes
Corset sizes are arranged in even numbers with a 2” difference (e.g. 26”, 28, and 30” etc.). I cater a range of 18” to 48” to women of all shapes and sizes.
A corset is sized in inches with its panel fully closed. An 18" corset is equivalent to an 18” waistline and will go no smaller than that when its modesty panel meets. A modesty panel serves to conceal our exposed back beneath the criss cross lacing. It is perfectly desirable to display the panel when wearing a corset. Aesthetically speaking, it is ideal to have a 2” gap to flaunt it.
These corsets come with a 6" modesty panel so an 18" corset will fully open up to a 24" waistline. From this point, we can then tension the corset across the desired regions according to our comfort or control and train our waist to mold into the size we desire. Once we are able to fully close it, it is a clear sign for us to go a size smaller.

How to select
When ordering, we round down our natural waist measurement if it is an odd number and request for a size that is 4" smaller than that. E.g. I request for a 24" corset if I have a natural waist measurement of 29".
If you are an experienced corset wearer like me, you may choose a corset that is 6-7” smaller than your natural waist measurement. E.g. I order a 22" corset if I have a natural waist measurement of 28".
What to expect:
Corsets are designed to accentuate our figure by minimizing our waist and accentuating our bust. They achieve this by cinching us in at the waist, which shifts excess body fat around our middle upwards.
If you are quite lean, without a lot of body fat around your middle, you will have less to squeeze or cinch in. If this is the case, then a 2" waist reduction will be a more realistic expectation, for even if the corset is built to to reduce 4", it can't do that for a person without that amount of fat to cinch in.
Similarly, a girl with a lot of body fat around the middle can easily achieve an instant 6" to 7" reduction as she has more to squeeze and cinch in. If you have been blessed with more body fat around your middle, you can order a corset 6” smaller than your waist and achieve that hourglass silhouette.
